Food was perfect, as always; service impeccable, the staff is so friendly and accommodating, and they went above and beyond to make the room special for us. We enjoyed the private room they offer and everything went off without any bumps. I highly recommend for private parties, large party meals, and a great place overall! Thank you so much Jesse! UPDATE 09AUG23: visited last week and today for lunch w/ co workers. Always good service and good food. ORIGINAL: Nice little restaurant. They have entrees from different cultures; but they do a good job of keeping them unique to their own. Waitstaff was attentive and friendly. I recommend getting the Sake Bomb you get a beer and small hot sake for $9. The spicy ground pork ramyun could be spicier; but it was very tasty. Bulgogi was very tasty. One small suggestion, with Korean dishes, add like two little bowls of banchan. Like maybe kimchi and maybe pickled daikons. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
If I could give them negative stars, I would. This is the place for you if you want them to tip themselves. Our waiter took it upon himself to add in a tip on our credit card slip. AFTER WE LEFT! How kind, right? This place is also for you, if you want them to be neglectful of people who have allergies. When we asked for the gluten free soy sauce he was first confused, and then brought a bottle of low sodium soy sauce to the table. Of course we did not use it as we knew right away it was incorrect. Do you like your sushi covered in sauces? You can get that here! Sushi is MESSY! Slathered in sauces. Also, they threw a little Texas flare in there and sprinkled Tajín on the ahi. Um, what on earth!? If you ask for lemons, youll get limes. Same thing, I suppose. Service was less than subpar and disorganization was everywhere. Save your palette and the extra charges on your credit card and go to Goros across the street. Dietary restrictions: They have ZERO clue about gluten allergies Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
This place was worth a try, but I don’t think we’ll be coming back. For me, the miso was a bit bland and I thought the sushi was way overpriced. I ended up ordering from the sushi lunch menu since it had cheaper options and the sushi was okay. I will say though, the size of the rolls were nice—they weren’t super tiny and instead pretty large. I also got the seaweed salad and it was pretty good. My boyfriend got the shrimp fried rice and orange chicken and though he said the rice was good, he wasn’t a huge fan of the chicken. Again though, it was a good portion size. Apart from that, it was a chill atmosphere and our waitress and the hostess were friendly. Definitely give it a shot if you’re a Asian-food fanatic as they have a lot of other options besides sushi! It just wasn’t for me. The lemon chicken was dry. The fried rice was very very sticky and dry. The soup and egg roll were very good. The wait staff had to be tracked down many times just to get a refill there was only two tables our table and one more. They were just busy talking it up worried about the way they looked.
