The Magic Flute Garden Ristorante

I had my wedding dinner at the Magic Flute Restaurant nearly 40 years ago. I can't believe that I haven't written about it! The Magic Flute always has an interesting menu and delicious food. Some friends and I happened in the other evening and got a tablein the front window (my favorite place to sit because it is quiet, though the restaurant is not very noisy), and we had the datedish, ravioli and whatever the other dish is that is pictured. It was all fabulous. I'll find photos of other meals I've had atthe MF. I eat there frequently! It's my go-to neighborhood restaurant.

After hiking the coastal trail my friend and I stumbled upon this restaurant. We were famished and our lunch did not disappoint. I had the the burger and my friend had the chicken burger. Both delicious. We followed up with lattes that were perfect. I willcome back.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was ok. Fried olives were good but not best in town. Risotto was rather basic and forest mushrooms turned out to be white buttons. Grilled Dates were decent but the salad was dull.

This is a real gem! So beautiful and gracious. The service was excellent and the food very good, though small portions. Delightful atmosphere. And nice to then go shopping and explore the beautiful design stores in the area.
