Waffle Spot King's Inn - San Andreas

The waffles at this restaurant are amazing! I also suggest trying the country style potatoes, although they may not be as good on Sundays (possibly due to a different crew). This is my favorite breakfast spot in San Diego.

Who doesn't want to eat out with a huge King Waffle? Inside the room has a retro theme with a large color scheme. The staff was amazing. Helpful, attentive, pleasant. Eating was pretty fast, though they were pretty busy. The red velvet waffle was crazy good.. Adding eggs, bacon and sausage to it a dish was almost too much food! I'll say they're a little overpriced for breakfast food.. even to Cali standards. Overall but.. highly recommended.

I had a fantastic breakfast at this restaurant while in San Diego for a conference. The waffles were outstanding - big, fluffy, and topped with apple cinnamon compote and slices of fresh apples. Delicious!

We dined at this restaurant three days in a row while on vacation in San Diego, CA, which speaks volumes about the portion sizes. I ordered the Grande Breakfast Burrito with Ranchera sauce, which was enough for two people with scrambled eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, fried potatoes, and cheese wrapped in a flour tortilla with delicious Ranchera sauce. My husband enjoyed a variety of waffles, including a plain waffle, an apple cinnamon waffle with cooked apples inside and fresh apples on top, and a bacon and cheese omelet with local potatoes and mini waffles on the side. He also tried the fried chicken with waffles on our last visit. The restaurant can get busy, so be prepared to wait a bit. The staff is friendly, the food is fantastic, and the prices are reasonable. The portions are generous, enough for two people to share. I recommend the 1/2 orange juice and 1/2 pineapple juice blend. We were accidentally served grapefruit juice once, which we did not enjoy. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend this place, it's worth the wait! We love the food and the staff.

Small dinner with great taste and large portions. It was our first time, but it won't be the last. I had the choir waffle and it was DELICIOUS!! The chicken was very crispy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inner waffles (ALL) were very airy, fluffy and light?.
