The Islander - San Andrés

Large selection of seafood and very good taste! The restaurant has large decoration, spacious and with a beautiful view of the beach/sea. Service is a bit slow, but it is worth it

This was our first visit and was so nice that we visited here last night. The food was tasty and fresh, the staff is always ready to help you and the atmosphere that in the restaurant is just...amazing.

Lovely place overlooking the sea and the restaurant is open, so a nice sea breeze comes in. It’s at the end of the Playa Spratt Bight Beach, so it’s quiet too. I especially loved the decor here too. We had the seafood cazuela, organic chicken,...shrimp hammock- all of which were extremely tasty. My kids who don’t really care much for seafood, loved the dishes. Service was prompt and attentive too. Just note: we went in May, which is off-season for lobster fishing. So initially, when we asked for the lobster platter, they didn’t have it. We were also given a dessert sampler on the house, so for that, a big Thank You for that and for your hospitality.

Not very good service..lets say average. The lobster is so good. Pina colada was the best we did in San Andres.tried it at 5 places not sure what is but all lösy. Maybe you return and sit on a sunny afternoon.

We had a light dinner before cocktails and juices for the children. Cocktails were “light”. Food was average and seafood fresh (as it should be), but the staff was SO ready for us to leave bang at closing time. Almost suppressing in her... hurdle to go. usually under average food and service for Sam Andres. Someone should open a decent restaurant here and make a killing.
