Having only been open for a few months, they have already perfected their offerings. Their specialty is catfish, but you can also find chicken fried steak and pork chops on the menu. The owner, who is also the chef, is a friendly person who is open to reasonable suggestions. The decor reflects a classic Americana and Texas style. This place is definitely a hidden gem in San Angelo.
We decided to give this place a try today. It’s quite small, but very clean and well-maintained. There aren't many food options available, but we have no complaints about our meals. I ordered the Hawaiian/Aloha Burger, and it was delicious; the rabbit was roasted perfectly, and the patty was juicy. My husband had the fried steak, which was outstanding! It was thick, the bread held up well, and he was able to cut it with just his fork. It was incredibly tasty. I plan to order it next time!
The roasted chicken steak was fantastic! The staff was friendly and attentive, and the owners were very hands-on. While the food is on the pricier side, the desserts are incredible. Definitely give them a try—you'll want to return!
Wife and I enjoyed the Angry Texan and Aloha Burger; both came with Fritten. I was not a fan of sweet tea (has it half sweet/unsweet, and it was still too sweet for me). There was a repulsive smell in the building, but the food was on it.
The food was great! Fried pickles were awesome! The staff is friendly and attentive. Sweet tea was fresh and perfectly sweet. Food was to the table quickly!
