The potatoes were fully cooked throughout, and the cauliflower had a perfect texture. We will most definitely be back again! 11 out of 10 would recommend.
I ordered the Tikka Masala and my husband ordered the Chicken Curry. Can I say yum!! Fragrant and absolutely delicious! I can’t wait for the next visit!
The new owners have created a very nice atmosphere and the food is truly amazing! They have a great variety and all seems quite authentic. Service is friendly and fast, considering the meals are prepared individually to order. One of my favorite restaurants in San Angelo. I have been back several more times since my original review and it is still culinary perfection. I've tried many dishes I wasn't familiar with and was very happy with them all Has become my favorite restaurant in San Angelo.
The food at Bombay to Kathmandu is amazing and the servers are always very attentive. We have yet to try a dish that we didn't like. The Chicken Tikka Masala, Gobi Manchurian, Chicken 65 Hot, Chicken Chili and Lamb Rogan Josh are our favorites. The garlic naan is very addicting and poori is great! Do your self a favor and give this unique establishment a try.
I read another review before coming here, and I loved it. The guy said it was everything you 'd expect from an authentic Indian restaurant from the one guy doing everything (and doing it pretty well), to the somewhat seedy decor and ambiance. Well, I was laughingly surprised that he had described the restaurant to a T. Yes, the decor is definitely dated. And yes, the 'front of the house ' is a one man band. But I felt like he did a pretty good job, and tipped him accordingly. Unlike the guy who wrote the excellent review, I have never been to India. However, that didn 't keep me from enjoying some really good food! And NO, it wasn’t just CURRY. For some reason, most folks think that 's the only flavor option available in Indian food. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala, which was cubed chicken in a cream/tomato curry sauce. Very yummy! My wife had a choice off the large Vegan selection that turned out to be both our favorite: Gobi Manchurian fried cauliflower cooked with herbs and spices (no Colonel Sanders here). While I’ve never been to India, my wife and I have both spent time in the Middle East, and LOVE some good naan. Their garlic naan was CRAZY good! For all you military folks, who enjoyed the food you had in Iraq or Afghanistan, you gotta try this place while you’re in San Angelo! And for the rest let’s keep this restaurant busy! It’s good and it’s different. And if we want to KEEP delicious ethnic foods here, we need to support them!
