Dickey's Barbecue Pit - San Angelo

The food is good and the service is great. While it may not be the absolute best barbecue I've ever had, I've never had a bad experience here. The food quality is consistently reliable. On Sundays, kids eat free, and there’s free ice cream available all the time. Personally, I enjoy mayonnaise on my chopped barbecue sandwich, but unfortunately, they don't offer it at the restaurant. It’s just my preference, but it does make a difference for me.

This restaurant is a fantastic choice with excellent service and tasty BBQ. They offer discounts for military personnel and students, which is a nice bonus. I appreciate that they provide calorie counts for each menu item; I managed to stay within my goal without exceeding it. The spicy sauce was flavorful without being extremely hot, allowing the taste of the food to shine through. I will definitely return!

Food was great and the customer service was outstanding! I ordered a side and didn’t end up liking it and they replaced it for free! The gentleman behind the counter were super sweet! Can’t wait to go back.
