Twisted Root Burger Co. - San Angelo

After a day of enjoying San Angelo, we found Twisted Root because of their patio overlooking the river park.

I first came here because I heard about the milkshakes.

The Happy Pilgrim- Pretty dang delicious, I really enjoyed the contrast of flavors from rich and creamy goat cheese with the refreshing pesto sauce.

All bungalows contain milk/egg. so frustrating! (I had the manager check because the company website says that real weizen beans are vegan. no! vegabond is the only vegan option for a entrée. eats it on a salad leaf....yes, it easily falls apart. but the taste is decent. updated by previous review on 2022-03-18

I love the food here. I didn't even try. I am disappointed in her vegetarian burger, as my wife is vegetarian and her Vegie Burger is only an old-fashioned chickpeas and blackberry burger. Where's the impossible meat? But the shakes are brilliant and the way the call makes your order fun. The (meat) burgers are fantastic, with all kinds of options including exotic meat! Drinks and a bar are available and the burger of the month is always fun. Good date night place where I think.
