Mh Bread And Butter - San Anselmo

This is my favorite breakfast spot in Marin County. They use super fresh, locally sourced ingredients to create delicious dishes. The baked eggs with roasted veggies is hands down one of my favorite menu items.

This restaurant is always inconsistent! You never know what you'll get when you order, even though it's listed on the menu. We really enjoy the ham and cheese sandwich on a half baguette. Unfortunately, half the time it's missing from our order, a quarter of the time it's correct, and a quarter of the time it's changed (like today, when it came on a different type of bread). This is just one example of the problems with the rest of the menu. If you go to the restaurant in person, it's great, but DoorDash just can't seem to get it right.

The bread did not meet expectations - it was not toasted, very thick, and tasted more like bread from a plastic bag at the supermarket than fresh baked sourdough. It was disappointing, especially considering the price.

Missing item I didn't receive the lemon poppy cake.

The restaurant is very clean and inviting. They serve generously portioned meals at reasonable prices. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and found the staff to be very friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely be recommending this restaurant.
