Bushwood - San Antonio

The jalapeño cream corn was inedible, and the coleslaw was equally unappetizing. The flavors of both were unlike anything I’ve experienced at a barbecue restaurant, and not in a good way. I really hate to be negative; this is actually my first time reviewing a restaurant. Unfortunately, I won’t be paying for this barbecue again. To top it off, they forgot my potato salad.

Food was very dry and bland, they gave me what look like scraps of onions left

Bushwood Country Club is a great place, no doubt about it. I want to clarify that my rating of 4 stars instead of 5 isn’t a reflection on the staff or the property itself. The atmosphere is quite casual, and the bar feels a bit outdated with that typical bar odor. I tried the BBQ once, and it was decent. The driving range is enjoyable, and I love grabbing a beer while hitting some balls.

This is a friendly place with a wonderful atmosphere and great people! The bartendress is extremely welcoming. I enjoyed sitting on the patio, where I passed around my guitar and had a fantastic time with some really cool folks. The patio is the perfect spot to relax, especially with views of the golf course. Plus, there are plenty of lovely ladies around!

This place is so fun. Cool environment, drinks are affordable, food is great. Staff is fun and friendly
