Most of the food was delicious; I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs. However, the steak was disappointing, as it seemed to be just a frozen patty from a store. Everything else we ordered tasted fresh. As for kid-friendliness, they do have a children's menu and crayons available!
I used to be a regular diner who came out twice a week. Everyone who's been with the cook for a while knows that my face always greets me. 3 weekends ago I stopped for the Sirloin, I tipped $3 to the waitress as I always, but with 1 simple request; That the steak is a thin cut <. What I received instead was the thickest, crispy piece of meat she could find with fat on the inside. Worst meal until today. I didn't say anything when I saw what they served me because I didn't want to create a scene in the facility. Instead, I called and asked the waitress why I gave her a $3 tip? She offered to hand me over to her manager, but I refused to talk to her to not create the safe conflict that would follow. When the cook wears glasses/ came to the front recognized me, he quickly fell his head and went to the back without welcoming me as I stood there, stared in the take-out bags shook my head. He knew he was messed up. I have not been back since I decided to publish this review because people should know what can happen if you ask for something, the cook is not in a good mood that can be a lot of time from my experience. I even stood between them angry customers in the past (two times) (always server of the cook) because they were rude.
Okt-26. 6:30p, 1 star for cleanliness, 1 star for fast cooking, 1 star for good food, 0 stars for customer service. 1 customer and I, 5 employees at the bar. My server eats on the phone and talks to the other employee while they return to me. I had to stand up for a cola refill. She came to the table with a setting to give the bill, a little frustrated she could have thrown the bill on the table.
Dairys was fantastic! The service was the best I've experienced in a long time. Our server was very polite and checked on us just the right amount. My husband loved his burger, and although my chicken dish was missing broccoli, it was still quite tasty. I should have mentioned the missing item when I ordered. Instead, I received corn, and I got the very last piece of chicken. The sweet tea was perfect! Thank you! Food: 4/5
I ordered a slam, which included 2 eggs, 2 meats, 2 pancakes, and hash browns. The only substitution I requested was to have my bacon and sausage placed in a separate container. It took 27 minutes from the time I placed my order until I was handed my food. After that, I had to wait for someone to check me out. When I inquired if a 30-minute wait for a to-go order was typical, the staff member ignored me. I then asked how long it typically takes to prepare my meal, and she told me 10 minutes. I followed up with, "So thirty minutes is pretty excessive, right?" once again, she ignored me. I asked if she was choosing to ignore me, and she replied that I just needed to swipe my card. I was calm throughout this, not loud or rude, but my frustration was growing, especially considering the place was nearly empty. Someone should have informed me that my order was taking longer than expected, or at least asked if I wanted a drink. Instead, this employee stood just two feet away from me and ignored my presence. When I eventually asked why she was ignoring me, she acknowledged that 30 minutes was indeed a long wait. As I left, the man who took my order also exited the restaurant. I expressed my disappointment with the long wait time, and he apologized, explaining that they were slow that day. As I walked away, clearly speechless, he called out an additional apology and mentioned that his staff was recovering from a busy morning shift. What? I can't fathom how it’s acceptable for me to wait an extra 20 minutes due to their prior busyness. As for the food, my scrambled eggs were slightly runny, the potatoes were greasy, and it seemed like they hadn't properly cleaned the grill after the breakfast rush—I found bits of black residue on my pancakes. My dog seemed to enjoy the pork, at least. Overall, the food was just okay; nothing so awful that it warranted a negative review. The 30-minute wait was annoying, but it didn’t significantly impact my day. What truly prompted me to write this lengthy review was the staff's response to me as a dissatisfied customer and later a frustrated one. By the time I reached my truck, I felt angry, bewildered, and very hungry. *UPDATE: This location is currently very understaffed. I’ve noticed some nights they operate solely on to-go orders, while on other nights they have been closed entirely.*
