Feedback gevenThe service was excellent and the food was fresh and delicious. We especially enjoyed dining on the shaded terrace. They were very accommodating when I asked for my eggplant dish to be served on a bed of spinach instead of pasta. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant again and again!
My fiancée loved the original location, so she wanted me to try it while we were in SA. Even though the menu said vegetarian, they assured us that everything could be made vegan. I ordered the tofu avocado benedict and was pleased to hear that vegan cheese and hollandaise were available. However, when I discovered what appeared to be tofu was actually not, I was disappointed. As a vegan, I rely on restaurants to accurately represent their dishes. I hope they improve their practices to avoid similar mistakes in the future. Despite this, I gave them 3 stars because the cupcakes were enjoyable.
This is my favorite place to indulge as a vegetarian! The chef at Green used to be a meat-eater but converted to vegetarianism, and his menu reflects his passion for vegetarian cuisine. Dining at Green is a unique experience unlike any other vegetarian restaurant. While many dishes are indulgent and full of calories, they are definitely worth it. The popcorn tofu sandwich is amazing, and even my meat-eating friends love it. The buffalo tofu fingers are a personal favorite, with a delicious flavor that makes them feel like a comforting meal. The Thanksgiving dinner this year was exceptional, with a preset menu that was executed perfectly. The fresh orange/cranberry/apple relish was a great accompaniment to the meal. The roasted potatoes with vegetarian turkey were rich and flavorful, and the beans were cooked to perfection. The golden brown southern-style biscuit was the cherry on top of an already fantastic meal. Lastly, the dessert was outstanding, with a ginger cookie filled with ginger pumpkin and caramelized sugar.
This place is good! Be aware though, not all items on the menu are vegan. Some have cheese or other dairy. I had the protein salad/bowl which was $12 and I was very impressed with the seasoning and texture of the tofu, it was soooo good. It took me a while to decide to try this place though because it is a little pricy.
My first time visiting Green was when it was located at the Pearl and I would not have recommended it then. I gave it another chance after it moved to the Quarry and I was pleasantly surprised. The service was top notch, food was so good and they had ample indoor and outdoor seating. Will definitely return Updated from previous review on 2021-03-10
