I’d prefer if they didn’t offer any other options if the only decent item on the menu is the meatballs, which I can’t eat. The salad was quite unremarkable, and the salmon was lacking in flavor. The staff were friendly, but the food really fell short. If you're considering something other than the meatballs, I suggest saving your money.
In recent years, the prices at this restaurant have risen significantly, and it appears that the portion sizes have decreased as well. Overall, I found the experience to be quite disappointing given the cost. I anticipated a satisfying and reasonably priced meal, but I ended up spending nearly $10 for just seven meatballs, some mashed potatoes, a veggie patty, and a drink. I could have dined at various other places for that amount. To make matters worse, the soda fountain was out of order, two flavors were completely unavailable, and the lingonberry served on my plate tasted different from what I remembered. After comparing it to photos from previous visits, it’s clear that the number of meatballs has diminished over time. I used to enjoy stopping at Ikea for lunch and browsing through the store, but now the restaurant isn't appealing enough to draw me in anymore.
I didn't have time to check out the cafeteria, but I did stop by the mini café near the exit. They offered a vegan veggie dog, which was great, and I also spotted a strawberry soft serve in a cone. The menu indicated that it was vegan since it was milk-free, and I was eager to give it a try, but unfortunately, they didn't have it that day. Hopefully, I'll get the chance to sample it next time! I'm really grateful for the vegan options available here!
The special coffee machine is always disturbed, such a frustration (person takes forever to fix the problem, and until I mean latte the food is cold). They are often made from soft drinks in the donor. The Desserts discs are becoming smaller and smaller (compared to the other IKEA locations and what they used). Often they are from the dishes and sides. I come here for the herbal croquettes and veggiebals that they are always tasty.
I love eating here! Breakfast,a party of 6 can eat good on $14? Lunch and dinner is just as good. Do not pass up the chance to try the Veggie balls, they are delicious. Always ask for the lingonberry sauce. They don't put it on all the time so sometimes you have to remind them. My kids favorite is the Chicken Tenders. They are huge and the fries are pretty darn good.
