Kababchi Grill - San Antonio

We had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant with excellent food and ambiance. The host was attentive and charming, but our waiter could have been more attentive to our table. Despite this, we still had a wonderful time and will definitely be returning soon. I highly recommend trying the Iraqi Eggplant Salad as a shared appetizer. The smoky flavors in the flatbread and chicken were absolutely delicious.

The staff at this restaurant were attentive and friendly. They were also respectful of my space since I was dining alone. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, especially the music which reminded me of the ambiance I used to experience when living with my Iraqi friend. It was a fantastic cultural experience dining here and I definitely plan on coming back. Next time, I'm looking forward to trying their cafe for hookah too!

We came to this restaurant tonight for a big meal and decided to try a variety of items on the menu. We ordered a cheese pizza with gyro meat as a topping, along with wings, rice, chicken, lamb, Dolmas, smoothies, Baklava, and other dishes. We created a sort of buffet for our group of 5 to try a bit of everything. The food was tasty and freshly prepared, so it arrived hot to our table. Some dishes lacked seasoning or spice, but they weren't too spicy for anyone. We were surprised to find that a 15% tip was automatically added to the bill, but we added a little extra. We were unsure why the tip was automatically included and when this policy is applied.

Good place to try Mediterranean food , my favorites are falafel

Kababchi Grill was so good. All the meat is cooked to order over charcoal wich adds a subtle smokey flavor. My husband and son both had the lamb tika, and i had the gyro sandwich. service was also very good. My family and I all really enjoyed this place.
