P.f. Chang's La Cantera - San Antonio

Our server Elaine was fantastic. She was attentive without being overbearing. The lighting was very bright inside, which was uncomfortable given the hot weather outside. The food was good, with the wonton soup being a standout. However, I felt that everything else was comparable to other Chinese restaurants at a higher price point. I was disappointed to learn that the Ooh-Long sea bass dish had been taken off the menu, as it was truly delicious.

Gone there many times. Notice the prices are up and portions are down. We order Mongolian beef. Came with a plate of greens onions and maybe ten little cut up pieces of beef. All combine less than 3 oz of beef. I understand inflation but it not worth going if they are going to do that.

Arrived on time for lunch. Restaurant did not have our reservation. They said their “system” does not receive reservations from OpenTable. Fortunately they were able to accommodate us timely. Great service, great food poor execution on the reservation side not the fault of the restaurant.

Every time you come to San Antonio, we try to eat here. The food is always good. We had a waiter this time that was not very attentive and the noise level was horrible.

GREAT CHOICES ON APPETIZERS AND ENTREES. FOOD QUALITY WAS VERY TASTY. SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT, ANNABELLE PROVIDED GREAT SERVICE AND SHE EXHIBITED A VERY PLEASANT AND PROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE.
