Poblanos On Main - San Antonio

My Australian boyfriend and I visited this restaurant for an authentic breakfast experience. He was amazed by the variety of options available, but he absolutely loved it! The waitstaff were incredibly friendly, polite, and attentive. The tortillas were exceptionally fresh! Plus, the location is perfect, just a short walk from the main plaza and the cathedral!

I ordered the Santa Ana plate, which included an enchilada and fajitas, served with rice and beans. I also got the chips and queso, which I really enjoyed. The queso here is great! However, I found some of the chips to be a bit chewy and they seemed under-fried. The cheese enchilada was just okay. Next time, I’ll check to see if they have ranchero beans available. The rice was delicious, and the fajitas were good as well. I visit often and have noticed that the quality of the fajitas can vary with each visit. Overall, I usually have a positive experience.

This was my first visit to the restaurant, and I decided to try the Enchiladas Verdes for lunch. They were fantastic, and the rice and beans complemented them perfectly. Everything was served hot, fresh, and quickly! Since I had a tight schedule for lunch, I really appreciated their prompt service, which allowed me to savor my meal. I will definitely return for more in the future.

Great food, fast service, free fountain refills. The workers keep it clean and are helpful. You can’t miss the beautiful celery outside next to the San Fernando Cathedral.
