Red Robin Gourmet Burgers - San Antonio

We dined outside and our server, Steve, who also happens to be the bartender, provided excellent service. He was attentive without being overbearing, striking the perfect balance. His strawberry daiquiri was delicious. The loaded potato fries were also a hit, with fresh onions, tomatoes, and bacon bits that weren't gummy. The mushrooms on my burger were not rubbery and tasted fresh, unlike some places where they taste like they came from a can. Overall, I would give more stars if I could. This was my second time dining here and I was impressed both times.

I feel like the burgers at this restaurant are smaller than they used to be, but they still taste good! The service from the staff was just okay, not excellent but not terrible either. The prices for the burgers, fries, and milkshakes are a bit high. We also received our food quickly when we dined here.

My 9-year-old son was dragged on a much-needed shopping trip and he was not happy about it! I bribed him with a Red Robin dinner if he behaved well, as it is his favorite restaurant. Unfortunately, our shopping trip took longer than expected and by the time we were done, Red Robin was closed. The staff at the Northwoods location kindly invited us in and allowed us to be their last customers of the day. Sydney, our server, was incredibly friendly and I am so grateful to them for helping me fulfill my promise to my son. As always, the food at Red Robin was delicious.

Where do I start? My first experience with Red Robin was lovely! I'm not for French fries or burgers, but I was ready to try this place. I'm glad I did it! The spices they have on the frits to the dipping sauces are simply exquisite! This place took my important other and I back to our first date! It is a culinary experience that speaks for itself and I enjoyed the food to the point that I decided it would be okay to spice on fried food. (Take it from someone who emphasizes the importance of healthy food. Well worth every penny. My important other and I enjoyed it until the last bite!

We had terrible service here last night. We actually left the waiter no tip and we NEVER do this. The manager was understanding and did comp our meal, except for four beers. Our autistic 18 year old son will rarely leave the house and usually ask for us to bring him home food. He went with us last night and that is why we are very upset. And the restaurant was empty. Our drinks remained unfilled. My husband's beer took forever. We got there at 7:45 and walked out at 9:15. Food took over 35 minutes to come out with no explanation. Waiter never checked on us. We had to flag him down. We had free fries that were never refilled. Never eating here again. Bad service RUINS the entire experience of dining out and like I said, I use to wait tables and usually over tip. No explanation was offered about anything and he seemed to not care one bit when we asked to speak to the manager on duty. the manager was apologetic and comp our entire meal. But, he did ask us, you want me to comp the entire 92.00 meal? I said absolutely. He said I can comp everything but the alcohol. Not sure if this is true.
