Willie's Grill Icehouse - San Antonio

The staff was friendly and our food arrived promptly. The menu had a good variety of options. The margaritas were delicious. The burger was cooked to a medium level, though I prefer it well-done. The desserts were excellent. We didn't have to wait long for a clean table and they quickly cleaned it for us. The manager and servers were attentive. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

We really had a great time with willies today. the food was great and the service was fantastic. our server chelsea was very attentive and we were really impressed by how good it was. she always smiled and made our visit the best. we're gonna be really good back there because of her.

This was our first time dining at this restaurant, as we live out of town. It was a bit difficult to find the grill, but once we did, we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant has plenty of parking spaces and is very spacious. The atmosphere is beautiful and the staff is great. The menu has a wide variety of options, which we appreciated. We celebrated a birthday party with a group of 20 people and everyone enjoyed their meals. The staff was very attentive and provided excellent service.

My man and I tried to land in willies on Saturday night. totally fail! first, the server leslie has been on our table forever. After 10 minutes sitting at the table she finally came and picked us the ticket. she never checked what we ordered or if we needed anything else. She took our ticket and ran away. I never imagined it until I asked her their names. Once our appetizer came, it was cold, soggy, she gave us only ranch dressing and forget the land gravy sauce for the fried mushrooms. after a long time, my man came out of charge, but everything was served separately. she forgot his mac and cheese and the streetmais. my food came out later. wings are what I command and they were terrible. I asked for the manager. he approached the table and sent the wing back as I told him that it wasn't what I expected. after about 20 to 25 minutes the so-called general manager came back with another order of wings. the presentation looks better, but the wings were uncooked, the skin was soggy. not again what I expect. I told the so-called general manager that I couldn't eat. these wings were disgusting and simply not edible. they would think they would train their employees properly so customers can be satisfied with what they ordered. I asked the so-called general manager for the company number. he thought I'd argue with him and told me there was only the number of the company in the ticket. we were not charged for the meal, which is fair as I did not eat my wings and not even, but two times they could not get it right. it is sad to say that willies was proud of what they served and treated customers right. everything went on the place from management to eating on the hill. terrible place. I will not come back at all. I am not looking for something to be given to me free of charge. I just want to talk to someone who is not the general manager of this place to let them know what's going on. there were so many people who were bad last night. I'm looking forward to talking to someone who's profi.

The atmosphere at this restaurant is very lively and the customer service is great. However, for the price we paid, it was not impressive enough to make us want to return. The food was bland, especially the spicy fried shrimp Baja tacos I ordered. The corn tortilla was cold and there were only 3 shrimp in each taco. My children had the chicken fried steak, which they said had no flavor and made one of them feel like gagging. My other child ordered the kids chicken tenders and while he ate them, he said they were not the best. According to my kids, the only good thing on the menu were the fried onion bites. Overall, I would suggest giving this place a try, but don't expect anything special.
