Blue Marlin - San Benito

This is a great Reaturant!!! Food was out in less than 5 mins. The fish and shrimp explode with flavor. I highly recommend you visit. Try the full order of fried shrimp with a side fried fish . A+ customer service. great! Great. Great.

Ordered grilled shrimp. Food was cold and unappetizing. I managed to eat the shrimp by putting lime juice on it, which is something I never do. Wife ordered fajitas. Her food was cold as well. Fajitas were nothing more than finely chopped steak pieces. We were moved to a different table because of a dead fish in a fish tank. I noticed that the person serving us was using their bare hands to clean the dead fish out of the tank. I can only hope that she cleaned and sanitized her hands. 1 star because we ate some of the food. Update. Wife got sick with intestinal distress for 1 1/2 days beginning the night that we ate supper here.

The Blue Marlin has an authentic Mexican feeling to the restaurant. I think we got lucky and were able to find ourselves with live music by this one man. If you ever come here and see him playing his guitar, tip him. He deserves it. I tried the Pescado Cancun which was out of this world good. The only problem I could come across is how dirty the outside was as we found trash in a lot of the outside area. In my opinion, a clean place says a lot about a restaurant and I was not impressed by the cleanliness of the establishment. Mostly grilled fish, large drinks and good prices. 3/5

The food was horrible! Salad was wilted lettuce with a slice of tomato. Worst tarter sauce I have ever had. Watched a roach crawling around on the floor by me.

Went here for lunch after church the first time I've ever been. It was SO dirty and gross. The return air grill was right next to me and it was so dirty it was almost enough for me to walk out before I even sat down. I got a high chair and it was filthy. No one came to greet us or take a drink order for a good 5 minutes even though the restaurant was very empty. My half order of fried fish was gross. My sons fried shrimp were over fried and he would eat. The only thing that was good was the shrimp rafafar. They brought out my kids food and we had to wait another 5 7 minutes for adult plates. This place gets ZERO stars if you ask me!
