But at the end were very disappointed by all the experience; hardly fish in the throat (which was not good); the rabbit was dry and overcooked, such a waste; the sauces on both plates were no supplement to the meat, really nothing special (cacoa with the rabbit and kakahuate with the codorniz) The staff was really friendly and the wines were fine. The vegetables were tasteful next to the codorniz. But that's all the positive we can say about the restaurant. Hardly something positive about eating... Especially with high prices! We believe that the meat has been frozen! Definitely fresh. Maybe the cook changed? Otherwise we do not find any explanation for all positive reviews.
This place is a whole life experience. Its unique and night is one of the best restaurants in the country. It has exotic food, but everything is done carefully and with one purpose. Ask question
That's a must! Such a big surprise as we didn't expect such a great dinner experience. 100% worth. Each dish is made by the family two generations, the owner and his wife and their sons). Ask for the 6 course menu. You won't regret it. The owner will tell you about any dish and the history and ingredients. Each dish was carefully thought out and developed with only ingredients that were available during the Maya Classical period. While modern and adjusted for today's taste. Your son has also studied molecular food so that you get some of this magic mixed with prehispanic flavors. That was really a great experience. Expect a modest restaurant. An open terrace with jungle plants all around. Full 6-course menu for two soft drinks and tip about $90 USD €80) in Jan 2022. Make a RESERVATION once you plan your trip, even weeks in advance, as they may not have the full menu available if you simply go in. Take a taxi there is your best bet of $150 mxn from Palenque Ruins.
The review that says this restaurant serves up endangered species it talking rubbish. They offer quail, wild turkey, venison, boar, duck and fish. You can choose any of these and pair it up with your own choice of sauce, which include wild herbs, local tomatoes, peanuts and cacao. The venison and boar were both very tasty, The desserts are divine, both the chaya leaf flan and the sweet potato flan are delicious. We were staying at Chan Kah resort, and waked from there. It is a 15 minute walk on a safe pavement, but take a torch, it's worth the walk.
Extraordinario muy bien el servicio . la atención y especialmente la comida sobre todo original por rescatar la comida con bases prehispánicas.la atención de los propietarios le da al comensal mucho más confianza en la preparación de los alimentos.vale la pena visitarlo
