This location in SF does not exist! My bf and I tried going here this weekend and ended up driving around very confused for a while. Seems like the pics on the post are old or merged from other location.

Updating since the Oakland store closed: stopped by today at the SF location and picked up an order to go. Got the Cajun spicy chicken, fried shrimp, rib ends, smoked sausage (now my favorite), baked beans, potato salad, collards (best I've ever had, vegan or otherwise) and smackaroni. This stuff is magic. Every bite.Original review: Heard about this place and decided to swing by on our way back home from a road trip north. Outdoor seating. Order at the window. Tri-tip ends were crunchy and chewy like I like and the brisket was great. Fried chicken was so close it actually satisfied my craving. The Mac and Cheese was perfect, the Greens were the best I've ever eaten and I grew up in SW Louisiana. I went vegan on Jan 1 and this is hands down my favorite meal in 8 months. Whoever's recipes these are, is a f-ing wizard. I wish there was a cookbook. Killer vibe on the block where this place is. Very cool neighborhood. This location on charter st is a ghost kitchen. The pictures in the reviews are totally inaccurate.It looks like all historic reviews have been merged in, but there is no storefront anymore since Oakland closed down.

Great food, great service! Ordered through the web for delivery and it came just as ordered. My partner says it's the best vegan food in the Bay!
