Was eager to leave a review for this place only to find out they might be closing. All the food was phenomenal and tasted fresh and delicious. I got hooked on toum, the garlic sauce, because of this place. A real shame if it's true that it's
We are staunch Jood supporters. We love splitting the Sandweesh with the cauliflower pesto and the Impossible kneaded kebab. While I eat chicken, my husband is vegetarian so this place offers fun veggie options for him and the food is absolutely divine. The service is as good as ordering at the counter can be. We typically don't choose to eat there because the restaurant is a bit narrow but we're always down for some takeout!
This is a pickup place. Order online, show up 20m later for the goodies. Parking is rough, but it's perfect for a 2 person team — one person drops off to grab the food, the other person picks them . The chicken is stupidly good, especially for the price. Chargrilled to perfection. This place is easily one of my go-to San Carlos places. They're closed now and I'm not sure if they're coming back. :
Food took more than 20 min at a time when there were no customers. Person making the food had a scowl on their face the whole time. Also we’re charged a convenience charge for using a kiosk… is that ridiculous or just me ?
