Wingstop - San Carlos

The wings at this Wingstop were fresh and delicious, just like at any other location, but the service here was exceptional! All it took was two simple phrases - "I'll be right with you" and "it will be about 15 minutes" - to make the experience even better.

This was my first time trying Wingstop and I ate in at the restaurant. I opted for the boneless chicken wings but was not impressed with the quality of the meat. I sampled three different sauces, some were tasty but nothing stood out as exceptional. Many people praise Wingstop so I had high expectations for my visit. Unfortunately, it was just an average meal and nothing particularly special. The person working at the counter seemed to have some communication issues and I encountered some difficulties with my order. While it is a step up from fast food chains like McDonald's, it still falls under the category of fast food. I may give Wingstop another try in the future and go for the bone-in wings next time.

The staff and manager at this location are incredibly professional and nice! On a crazy Monday they kept a smile on their faces as I placed a ridiculously large order for a very high maintenance group! I will be back to support them!

A while back ago I ordered food to get delivered. After an hour (which I was told was the wait time), I called to see why my food wasn?t delivered and they said they didn?t have drivers. I was upset that they couldn?t bother to call or email me that sothat I wouldn?t be waiting so long so I asked to cancel the order and get a refund. They said I would get a refund in a severaldays but it?s now been over a month and no refund. I?m very disappointed.

I find it interesting that their Original Recipe wings are not very good, despite being a fan of buffalo wings. They are overly vinegar and spicy, lacking any real flavor. However, their other menu items are quite tasty. The lemon pepper wings are delicious and surprisingly, their fries are exceptional for some reason.
