El Buho Blanco

Pablo was very friendly, the place is great with a spectacular view. The pub plays jazx/blues music. Great. Then the bill came. $1800 for 4 beers and 3 small Quesadilla. Very disappointed, the most expensive of our 5 week trip in Argentina and Chile

We enjoyed our short stop at the white owl. Owner was very friendly and gave good advice. He speaks Spanish, English and French. Merci beaucoup!

Hidden from the main road, just in perfect distance for a coffee pit stop on the road to Esquel/El Bolson, this jewel of a café heated the adventurer in us. Splendid view, OK Coffee and Medialuna while enjoying the entertaining stories of all... the different ways that it is possible to come in Patagonia. Would go back every day!

Driving down Ruta 40 from San Carlos de Bariloche direction south, passing El Foyel, follow the sign Camino del Misterio 200 meters, and discover cafe bar panoramico El Buho Blanco. Keep track of the signs on the roadas and you 'll arrive to a perfect mountain bar/restaurant, with and increidible view, and a very unique rock n roll style. Attended by its owner, who has plenty of fun stories about how he decided to build El...Búho, Blanco, and the diverse kind of travellers that stopped by. We had coffee and home baked pastafrola . Cool music playing the whole time. It 's definetly the place to stop and stretch your legs, before getting on the road again!
