Old Volcano Caverns

Very recommended. Short but great experience for what it is worth. Duration about 2 hours and half. There are two sessions during the day, one at 11 am and the other at 3 pm. There are 3 caves or caves that seemed too easy, but there are some stories to hear. Guide is really good and let us take our breaths at intervals during our ascent and gave us interesting highlights and amazing views. The tour will be better and better if you go further along the course, ready to crawl on the last leg for about 6 feet and you will be rewarded with a beautiful geological surprise. I was amazed that even an older man could crawl past it. I see no need for walking shoes. You cannot go alone, it is only possible by paid guides, but it is relatively cheap. You can go to the meeting point with your own car or pick up at predetermined hotel points.

Fantastic tour, our guide was knowledgeable and friendly and even has many information in English (although the tour was Spanish). Very recommended, and the children in our group also enjoyed it.

Great place with WiFi to hangout before or after the caves. It's a nice activity to hike around and see the history of the caves.
