Raised on Southern California Mexican food, have lived in Florida the last 25 years. I was in heaven eating this food, bean and cheese burrito, carne asada taco, chips and cheese, salsa. Don't let the bad reviews fool you. Try living in Florida without good Mexican food.
I dined at this place about a week ago, I was here for a business trip. To keep it short and simple. The cook was so nice at first, until he started being creepy. As soon as I was leaving he was asking me where I was going, where am I staying, how far, have I been to the beach, how beautiful I was, have I been to San Diego, that he?ll take the day off because he wanted to take me to San Diego! I told him I can?t I work, his response was ?me too.? So I said okay well I gtg bye, and he just watched me. I got in my car and then I seen him walk to the kitchen. Mind you I?m well under 35-40 years younger then him. He could most literally be my dad. Definitely the worst experience especially being alone.
I got an Al pastor taco and a side quesadilla. Great taste, and good value for money, even during all the inflation! Tons of meat on the taco. The side quesadilla is massive! It was good as well, my only complaint would be it was very greasy and they package it folded on itself which spreads the grease more. Their salsa is tasty and spicy. I would recommend it, and go again
Food is ok. Pretty greasy. Also noticed if you try to order for pickup online the combo plates are now almost $20? They used to be $12. Absolutely not. You can get a better meal at almost any place in town for that price. Won?t be going here anymore, what a rip.
