Feedback gevenI had a disappointing experience with the customer service at this restaurant. I really love their bowls, and my family makes it a point to visit at least once or twice during our trips to California. However, tonight when I arrived at 7:45, just 15 minutes before closing, the cashier didn’t greet me or even look up from what he was doing. After spending a few minutes checking the menu, I approached the counter to place my order, only to be told that they were already closed. There were still at least ten other people in the restaurant, and I arrived well before closing time. If they intended to close early, why not lock the door? To make matters worse, the cashier was quite confrontational.
I tried to speak with the manager, but they don’t always have one on duty. The person who picked up our order was clueless, so there was no way to address my concerns. I also specifically asked for one bowl without blueberries and one without coconut since the person eating it is sensitive to coconut. They ended up putting coconut in both bowls and on top as well. Instead of making a fresh one, they attempted to scrape off some leftover coconut shavings, but of course, the person couldn’t drink it since we didn’t know if they added coconut milk. The other bowl was topped with blueberries, despite my request. My family and I have been loyal customers of Banzai Bowl for years, visiting various locations at least once or twice a month. This experience was truly disappointing and embarrassing for the company. Shame on you!
If you visit this restaurant, don't expect much in the way of customer service or attention. My friend and I drove all the way from Riverside, and we were disappointed. I ordered a smoothie for $7, and it wasn't even served in a small cup. What a letdown.
I visit Banzai Bowls each time I travel to California; everything there is delicious. However, this is the second time that I have visited this specific location and the second time that it took over one hour to get our order which was simply ONE BOWL. Both times the employees kept shuffling bowls and smoothies to their friends as they came in instead of serving the paying customers. Very disappointed in their customer service given they were not understaffed.. just not properly managed.
Always yummy , though pretty slow turn around . We order in advance and still have to wait upon arrival . Busy place :
