There is various types of meat one can choose, although it can be overwhelming for new customers entering this environment. The service was neat, fast, and direct. They constantly catered to the needs of customers. Responded quickly to any orders the customers had and made it easier to navigate through the menu. The atmosphere is spacious, and doesn’t feel cramped. There is enough space to feel as you have your own area. The place has glass all over to give this feel of extra space and light, while also keeping the temperature of the place at a perfect level. It can tend to get loud in there, but overall nothing to over the top.
Food is very good, the hospitality is a little odd, the rules here are complicated and the service a little strict and not so accommodating. It’s like the focus is not on the customer experience. Limiting 3 card payment for a table of 5 is just unhelpful and for no gain. Tip level was adjusted to accommodate for the lack of
Came here for a family dinner of 25 people. We made reservations and were seated promptly on a Friday night. It gets quite warm inside despite their vents right above the grill which were pretty loud making it hard to hear the people around you. Items were forgotten several times but waters were refilled and the overall quality of meat was pretty decent. I especially enjoyed the rib fingers, wagyu steak, and pork belly. I tried to order sides with the initial meat order and the waitress interrupted me and told me she will bring out the meat first and then come back to order the sides which didn't make sense since the sides took a long time to come out. Also no complimentary banchan is included, you have to pay for those too. So on top of a $50 dinner, thats pretty steep compared to other ayce kbbq restaurants. This is only my review for a big group dinner as I know it's not easy remembering to bring out all items that were ordered. I think I'd like to come back with just a small group for a better experience.
Bring your appetite...great place for a bunch of hungry appetites! Be prepared to fork out the dough too. Keep in mind there is a two hour seating limit so cook and eat efficiently . Everyone in your party is required to order from the same menu; there are three ranging in price. Of course, the more expensive, the more variety. I think if you let the wagyu beef or rib eye steak reach room temp, maybe 45 minutes or so, your meat will be much more tender. The bulgogi and a number of items were so delicious! Mouthwatering! Baby Octopus is not for everyone. It 's located at the mall, so parking is easy. They were very slow with bringing more water which is a necessity in my opinion.
I have been here 3x in the last month and wasn 't here for since covid so that should speak for itself The food has always been good but they 've recently stepped it up and what stands out here is the abundance of salads which weirdly includes Caesar salads , quality of the meats, and solid ventilation so your eyes don 't water bathing in meat juices. The service here, when it is firing on all cylinders, is among the best in SD but when it slacks, it REALLY slacks. I might get just 2-3 visits during the whole meal and have to flag people down multiple times for food.My biggest gripe has been the transparency on pricing. I 've come in twice during the opening hours on a Sunday and during a holiday and was told that lunch prices were not valid and that they would be charging dinner pricing. The first time it was because it was the Labor Day holiday, totally understandable and I can see it helping the staff as they probably added more people to handle the crowds. On Sunday I was bewildered when they just casually threw out because it 's the weekend . As a consumer I see this as a disrespectful gesture to your customers and just false advertisement in general. Please address this with more clear signage. One last thing that I would like but isn 't a deal breaker would be to have the corn cheese that comes on a plate! The corn here comes in a foil cup and just isn 't the same : The rating overall I give is a 3.5/5 but could definitely bring it up to a 4-4.5!
