California Pizza Kitchen - San Diego

Update: Went back for dinner today (about a week after the last time). The experience was equally as great. I had the Rib eye this time WOW!! Best steak I've had in many years! First time at this CPK. Great experience!! Kyle, the bartender, waited on us... he rocked!! He has a fabulous attitude and is an awesome waiter! We sat at the counter and watched Brian the manager (so impressed we asked for his name) prep All the meals for the entire restaurant. We've never seen that level of organization anywhere amazing! The pizza chefs were also incredible... never missing a beat. Overall, this team is a well oiled machine!

Awesome food. Will definitely be returning for nice dining and amazing mixed drinks.

The dining experience was excellent, the service was good. We were seated at a wonderful table with a view. There was a 20-minute wait, but it was worth it. The salmon dish was a bit bland.

We decided to have a lovely Friday night date at CPK. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were informed that there would be a 15-20 minute wait. However, we ended up waiting for 30 minutes before I went up to inquire about our table.

The restaurant opened 30 minutes early on a rainy Sunday morning for my daughter's birthday party. Our party had the entire place to ourselves.
