Chris' Ono Grinds Island Grill

I came here just for a quick snack and ordered their spam musubi. The servers were friendly and gave me my food quickly. It was a solid musubi and definitely reminded me of one from the island. I thought it could be a bit more flavorful but I was happy with it either way. Will come back to try more of their food!

The spicy poke was surprisingly lacking in flavor. The only addition that provided any heat was the jalapeño, and I've never encountered poke with bell pepper before. Even when I tried to enhance it with furikake, it still felt quite bland. This recipe definitely needs to be improved, as it doesn't do justice to authentic poke from Hawaii. Additionally, the mac salad tasted like it came from a grocery store's generic brand.
