Cotijas Cocina Mexicana - San Diego

We mistaken this as a sit down restaurant. It's not. However, the manager, Rey, and the staff made us feel welcome and got us seats on the covered patio. The foods were delicious! I really enjoyed the chips.Food: 5/5

So good. I was back in San Diego for a few days, and craving a good burrito, so my friend suggested we go to her favorite place. She was spot on. The food was amazing, the horchata tasted like rice pudding in the best way, and the patio dining area was fragrant with jasmine flowers. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.Food: 5/5

I love their food. Big burritos and delicious salsa. The only reason they don’t get 5 starts is because of the way they do to go orders over the phone. Unless you pay over the phone they won’t start your order until you get there and pay. What’s the point of a to go order over the phone? My expectation is if I call 20 mins ahead I will go pick up the food and it will be ready….not wait another 15 mins once I pay for it to come out.

One of the best crispy Chicken Tacos that I have had in a long time. I had cilantro onions added to it. Chips are a little bit thicker and the nice variety of salsas too!Food: 5/5

We for sure ordered too much! The crispy chicken taco and mini tacos were delicious. Probably one of my top carne asada tacos.Parking: Not a local so glad we didn’t have issue with parking
