Extreme Pizza - San Diego

Extreme Pizza raises expectations with its name. If they had named themselves "Pretty Good Chain Pizza," I would have thought, "Sure, that's great." Unfortunately, they fall a bit short of that promise. The ingredients are decent, but the sauce isn't anything special, and while their specialty pizzas are interesting, they come with a steep price tag that feels overhyped. Still, it's worth a visit if you're in the neighborhood.
