Five Oceans Fish Market - San Diego

They had already sold out of salmon and tuna poke when I arrived in the late afternoon. I was sad, but my bad for being too late. They did have a little spicy salmon poke which was offered to me, but I told them that I am a tuna girl. They brought out the last few pieces of ahi and offered to cut up, which I accepted. To my surprise, after a few minutes, I was presented with a beautifully dressed bowl of ahi poke. I thought I was going to have to diy at home. I ended up buying the rest of the salmon sashimi as well. My family was thrilled with how fresh and perfectly seasoned the poke was. If you want great service and pristine fish, you cant go wrong with Five Oceans. It is worth it.

I'm blown away how welcoming the owner Brad has been when I've visited . He cares about his seafood as well as his staff . They all work so hard . I was craving poke for an early lunch and was in the area . I also was eyeing the lobster roll so decided to get both . They let me sample both the spicy and original poke . I decided to buy by the lb vs getting a poke salad . I bought about a 1/4lb of both salmon poke . The salmon tasted incredibly fresh and reminded me of salmon belly which I love . Brad said the lobster roll is now one brioche bun but the same amount of lobster meat . They butter toast the brioche and it tasted wonderfully sweet and yummy . The lobster meat was plentiful and didn't have just those rubbery cheap lobster pieces . The coleslaw was ok . I would absolutely return for this lobster item . They're located by the Trader Joe's and Rite Aid with plenty of parking . Can't wait to try more items here

The lobster rolls are to die for! Amazingly fresh fish and the oysters are spectacular! The lobster roll came with two sides and chips so more than most people can eat In one setting. Staff is very happy to help.

Tried out their lobster roll and was disappointed that there was no lobster tail pieces and only the claw meat and a lot of wiggly pieces. Lobster West has better lobster pieces for the same price.

I stopped in looking for a last minute dinner idea on a Friday afternoon. They have a great selection of quality fish and seafood. But on top of that, their service is outstanding! I would highly recommend checking them out.
