Hayes Burger - San Diego

The best burger joint in San Diego. If you want an elevated take on the In-N-Out menu look no further. The staff is always friendly, the menu is simple, and the location is off the beaten path. I suggest adding pickles to your burger of choice, and not skipping the Jimi Fries.

My favorite burger place!! They are consistently good! The burgers are always so fresh and perfectly cooked and the jimi fries are amazing!

Burger was a bland soggy mess. Absolutely no seasoning...AT ALL. Lettuce was completely wilted. Bottom bun is soggy falling apart so i had to COMPLETELY remove it and use a slice of regular bread. The patty is paper thin. The cheese is toilet paper thin. The sogginess of the burger is a disgrace. The fries are salty and limp. No crispness too them in the least. This burger joints food is DISGUSTING!!! Just spit it out. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!

This is my second time here in over a year, and I have to say I love the service and specially the food ? I ordered a double cheeseburger a hamburger two fries and two drinks it cost me $42. I know some of you will Say (T.G.D.M. but believe me is very well worth it ? the burgers are so soft they practically melt in your mouth ? the fries are so full of flavor I couldn't stop eating them ? and I dint want to stop. Since I'm from Los Angeles I can't come here often but I will make this my to go place anytime I'm in the area.

Menu is very simple straight to the point, burgers and a grilled cheese for entrées. Fries and drinks are sold separately.A bit pricey for burgers and unfortunately no bacon options but overall service, location, eating area was nice.
