Humble Bean Cafe - San Diego

This cozy little spot offers outdoor seating and has a small parking lot. They serve coffee and pastries. I tried a hot honey lavender latte ($6) made with oat milk and a Pakistani chai ($6) with whole milk. Both drinks were enjoyable, but I particularly liked the chai, which had a delightful kick of spices. The barista mentioned it was his grandma’s recipe. I found my hot honey lavender latte to be perfectly sweet and balanced in espresso, while my friend ordered it cold and felt that something was off with his drink. I also had a chocolate croissant that they kindly warmed up in the microwave. I would have preferred it toasted in an oven, but it was the perfect size and had just the right amount of chocolate throughout. There’s also a shelf filled with games, books, merchandise, and their own brand of coffee.

This is a charming coffee shop located in the Mission Hills, Clairemont area. It's clear that the locals really appreciate this spot. When I arrived, it was quite busy, with many people socializing and studying. The service was exceptional; I had a number of special requests for my drink since I don't drink coffee and I'm lactose intolerant. They prepared a delicious almond milk chai tea for me. The staff was very patient and friendly throughout. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!

We tried the Vietnamese Iced Coffee, the Avocado Bagel, and the Grandpa's Grilled Cheese, and everything was delicious. Our food and drinks arrived promptly after we placed our order. I would definitely come back again in the future.

Amazing coffee, the best roast beef sandwiches, and their freshly made desserts are the best, especially the banana bread. When i?m in town, my go-to order would be their iced Turkish latte. The vibes are also very cozy, the perfect spot to get work donefrom. If i could order for delivery from outside of San Diego, I would.

This place is a hidden gem! The coffee, the food, the service, the decor, everything about this place is 5 Star 10/10. I needed something strong to wake me up and was recommended the desert rose. My friend ordered a ?Grandpa?s Grilled Cheese?. Both wereabsolutely amazing!! Everyone was friendly as well. Great Vibes! Can?t wait to go back and support this local business!!
