Everything I have ordered so far has been incredibly tasty and reasonably priced. The staff is always friendly and quick to prepare the Bionicos (fruits with Mexican style toppings). A friend recommended the Mangonada, and it was also very good. The restaurant offers a variety of Mexican ice creams that are also delicious. It is a small place located near Starbucks on Garnet, but I highly recommend it.
This is my favorite spot for satisfying my craving for mangonadas. I have also tried their ice cream, which comes in a variety of flavors and in popsicle form. You can stick to the classics or try something new to tantalize your taste buds. Everything is rich and delicious. They are conveniently located just a few blocks from the beach, so I often make a trip to the sand part of my experience, adding an extra sweet touch. My go-to order is the mangonada/chamango, as I mentioned before. I have visited other fruit shops and ice cream parlors in the area, but this one stands out above the rest. I believe it's because their mango sorbet is simply delightful. The toppings are generous and well-distributed. It's a perfect combination of sweet, tangy, and a little spicy, balanced out by the refreshing mango. It's one of my favorite treats in the summer, and it's easy to enjoy while taking a leisurely walk to the beach. I will note that there may be some wait times due to limited staff (like many local businesses currently experiencing staffing challenges), but it's worth it. Everything is made by hand and prepared fresh to order, so be patient if there's only one person working. If you're in a rush, grab a simple scoop or popsicle to enjoy on the go.
Our group unanimously loved the passion fruit ice cream at this restaurant. It perfectly captured the true flavor of passion fruit in a creamy and refreshing dessert. For those who prefer a more classic and indulgent option, the Reeses peanut butter ice cream was a standout choice.
Stopped by here for a refreshing drink after chillin at PB! It was a pretty hot day, so we wanted an agua fresca. All the flavors sounded really good but we got the cucumber lime flavor and it was delicious!!! It was just the perfect amount of sweetness, not too sickeningly sweet. They look like they have a TON of Mexican treats like paletas, other ice creams, tostilocos. Definitely recommend stopping by here if you're in PB and craving a cold treat!
An amazing paleta. So many different flavors! Love love love them. They also have very different ice cream flavors. So if you're tired of the plain old vanilla or salted caramel at your typical ice cream place, come on by. You could also check out their wide variety of interesting candies for sale. Seating indoors and outdoors for you to enjoy your sweet treat. They're very patient in explaining all the different choices to meet your sweet cravings.
