First time visitors with a reservation at 6:15, the restaurant was about half full. Server only arrived after we requested one from a nearby server after 10 minutes of sitting. Server named "Sean" was very loud, unable to read customers and unable to deliver on promises of quick service. The service was extremely slow, lasting 2.5 hours. The Crudo trio was inedible, with fishy sauces that tried to mask the weak fish. The salad, two entrees and trio of sorbets were good. A busboy/runner brought bread spreads and described them, later followed by Sean who repeated the same, still very loud. The total bill was $200 without alcohol. Would not recommend or return. The ambiance felt corporate, with better options like Morton's, Ruth Chris or Flemings. The parking valet mentioned Larsen's location closing soon, which was odd.
The food at Larson's is fantastic. The outdoor seating was not busy and the propane heaters were very effective in keeping us warm on a cold night. This restaurant is perfect for special occasions.
Both steaks were cooked to perfection. One medium rare the other Pittsburgh. Sides were fine, large enough for 4. Excellent wine list, but go for the steak.
Everything was absolutely wonderful, I can't think of one way of improving
