Level Four Pool Deck Lounge - San Diego

For the first time in the newly renovated Kimpton Alma. Free coffee in the lobby in the morning as well as a beautiful complementary happy hour of 5-6. This property is totally dog friendly – they even serve you dog beer!! Seriously, Danny took so wonderful care from us from booking the place to our actual stay. We received an early check-in, surprised strawberries covered with chocolate, and even given a high floor room with a ton of natural light as desired. Daniel and Robert certainly made us feel like Julia and the rest of the staff at home. We ate the cafe for dinner and it was also delicious. A cozy night in the Kimpton for us and our angry friend. Thank you to the staff, especially Danny – we will be back!!

We were very grateful to upgrade to a suite for our 5 nights. The bedroom was large with plenty of storage space, and the bathroom was also large with a walk in the shower. The staff was professional and friendly. The hotel is located near the Gaslamp Quarter and there are many bars and restaurants to choose from in the area. It is also located near the Trolley and it was quite the adventure when we caught one to the Las Americas Premium Outlets!! The Level 4 Hotel Restaurant/Bar was closed for renovations, but it looked like a very nice area to have a drink.

Kimpton Alma was a very nice experience! The reception was a gentleman and treated us with respect and made us feel at home. The Valet Crew was also respectful. The room was beautiful with views of the pool and seating. The café area Setup was very nice and detailed and her coffee was delicious! With her breakfast?

Tre checked us and was so warm and helpful! The other girl at the counter (not catch her name) was also so sweet and gave our Pup treats! He has a new best friend! And Nickie was brilliant at the bar, made some very refreshing cocktails and again, so beautiful! The staff really makes this hotel a home. We'll stay here.

I had the best stay at Alma! The hotel is wonderful in every way, hospitality, service, cleanliness design! Dinner at Desmond’s was delicious and a delightful experience. I have yo give a special thank you to Nicki at the coffee bar in the morning for her service and positive attitude! It set the tone for my day!
