Mimi's Cafe - San Diego

I highly recommend their muffins, French onion soup, and fruity bread—all are absolutely delicious. The scallop ratatouille ravioli was especially remarkable, a compliment I don't give lightly. If you’re planning to eat in Mission Valley, you’d be much better off stopping at Mimi’s rather than P.F. Chang’s or those other dreadful chains that seem to think they are culinary treasures, despite having the unpleasant appearance and odor of baby food. But that’s a topic for another review!

Most probably the best breakfast/brunch place in the town. Authentic French cuisine is available. The croissant was lighter than air with a welcoming whiff of butter on it. Had the smoked salmon eggs Benedict and never had tasted anything better than that. The ambience is perfect, and the menu list even better with a huge variety of eggs and pancakes and mimosas served and waited upon by the most warm staff who aim that you never leave the place dissatisfied. A must visit.

This place has the best bread pudding in San Diego! It's become my friend's favorite spot since he relocated from Indiana three months ago. You can't go wrong with any meal here, whether it's breakfast, lunch, or dinner!

We had a wonderful breakfast on Saturday morning, with everything cooked just right and our waiter attentive to all our needs. I particularly loved the quiche Lorraine. My daughter ordered an omelet and asked for hot sauce, which our waiter quickly brought us. The muffins are enormous, and every bite is pure bliss.
