Moncai Vegan - San Diego

This restaurant is fantastic! The food is delicious, and the menu offers just the right amount of choices—plenty of options without feeling overwhelming. The staff was extremely helpful as well. It's a great spot for vegans and everyone else too!

I tried the Chicken Biscuit, which features gardein chicken on a cheddar biscuit, accompanied by deliciously roasted root vegetables and a mouth-watering gravy. The BTLA sandwich is another highlight, containing bacon tempeh, baby greens, cilantro mayo, guacamole, all on some delectable bread. Don’t miss their coconut carrot ginger soup of the day—it's quite spicy and absolutely the best I’ve ever had. And I can’t forget to mention their orange donut with actual orange zest—it's hands down the best donut I've ever tasted (sorry, Donut Friend!). I’m really glad we decided to check this place out, and I’m sure you will be too—unless you happen to lack taste buds or a sense of smell. But even then, your eyes will be pleased (just look at that beautiful plating!).

The food is amazing, and the portions are generous. I really enjoy this place. They now accept credit cards, which they didn't do before. The starters, entrees, and desserts all taste fantastic.

I like the concept, only they use more salt than I. On my subsequent visitS the food got better and better. I now consider this my second favorite restaurant. Thanks for making my dining experience great.

We recently had a chance to visit this sweet cafe during a New Years trip to SD. Glad we did. It was fantastic! The waiters were great, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was very laid back. Also, located in a hipster artsy neighborhood. Loved it! Definitely will visit again.
