Nice place and really good comfort food and at a reasonable price point. Do not think of anything fancy but it has all the regular favourites. I certainly liked the fried rice and also the goo young.
Searched for Ma-dasao but come to a link called Mr Holy Gao. The restaurant owner must not want reviews. The rating is more like 2.5 Came here because it is close to work. Owner changed and food went south. My friend’s Hainanese chicken rice was too yellow. Was it dyed. Garlic shrimp was too salty. The chef must have a heavy hand on salt. Noodle bowl was ok. When we pay the bill, the waitress won’t let go of the handle electronic device. It was so awkward and inconvenient to input tips and personal information for the receipt. Let go! I won’t take the device home. Probably won’t come here too often.
I have been here a few times, good for a quick work meal or gathering with friends and family. The price is very fair and it is an authentic Chinese place! The good Chinese food usually takes lots of skills, we do not put lots of spices when the ingredients are fresh. Looking forward to trying their Shanghai hotpot!
The owner and staff are fun and friendly. The menu here offers many hard to find and unique dishes. If you like spicy food, there are a lot of options for you here, too. The food here is well prepared and very flavorful. This is not a greasy Chinese fast food restaurant. This is a sit-down restaurant that offers great dishes.
