Original Pancake House - San Diego

We come to this restaurant several times a year. They are famous for their delicious pancakes and unique style omelettes. I usually stick with their simple dishes like eggs, bacon, and coffee. However, this time I tried their popular Joe's Breakfast and it was fantastic. In the photo you can see the Famous Joe, Eggs Florentine, Spinach Omelette, and Eggs Michael. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.

I haven't eaten at this restaurant in years. I had a fantastic experience with German pancakes, French crepes, and meals with potato pancakes. I'm not a big fan of lemons on my food, so I asked for syrup instead. Our waitress brought the syrup, but also recommended trying the dish with butter, lemon, and powdered sugar instead. It was delicious. The crepes came with fresh whipped cream and the potato pancakes came with sour cream, everything was perfect. Stick to their recommendations, you won't be disappointed.

Went in on a Friday morning around 11am. Not super busy even though it was a holiday weekend. They instantly offered us water and coffee once we got our table. Fabulous service and delicious food. Definitely visiting again!

Recommend by a friend who had many breakfasts here . The omelette was good and large. I had vegetables ones while my friends took the bacon and cheese type. Prices were reasonable and place was clean. Open at 7AM and close around 3PM.

Was very busy when we went but they were very quick to get us in. Very attentive and friendly employees! Reading the history of this place was pretty cool, owner seems to love his business. Food was very good! A little pricy but worth it :
