Interestingly, on this day and at the time, in an ethnically diverse city to experience the subtle disregard for African American diners is disturbing. But I have also read reviews that Sab-E-Lee can put out power with other manierisms while I take people hard-earned money. At first there is a younger server with a snotty setting that only puts your order, puts the food down and then tries to force a tip. I was quite my own server because the targeted ignoring of several employees was interesting. Although I observed favorable different interactions with other ethnicities. The waitress did everything possible to try to leave us or act unreasonably. And I could have done it. But I was pleased that my tweet experienced this so that she understands even if you are on your A game, pretension still exists. And I have eaten in the bar of restaurants for many years and live right near this restaurant. And the tofu drunk noodles are really good. And equally well in other Thai restaurants. I would recommend that you do not protect this ice cream because of race behavior, lack of decor, and destructive behavior for tips. And so when I tip because the food and the hands that prepare the food is simply worthy of good karma, I elegantly let the rude young servers know that it was quite inappropriate. But in fact, the four employees were the 23rd June 2022 between the hours of 800-900 pm worked, all uncome. Although they smiled graciously.
So amazing? The food reminds me of the days I traveled in Thailand? really authentic Thai cuisine. Spicy nude shrimps and Tom yum soup are fantastic? The prices are fair. The iced tea is too sweet. I will definitely visit again?? BTW, their chili papers are very sharp? I felt like smoking my ears after eating shrimps whose spicy level is only THREE?
Red thai Curry with Tofu and Panang Curry is what we tried here. I loved everything. Too Delicious!! We tried her pineapple frying that's really good. Don't take her spices casually! If they mention a friendly warning?, they really mean it!! We ordered a spice level of 4 but later on felt 3 would have been better! Must try!! Very recommended if in San Diego!! It has become our way to the Thai restaurant in the city.
This is my favorite Thai restaurant in SD. I knew about this spot over 7 years ago when they were at their tiny old location. The food here is still really good but their prices are more than other comparable places. For example, steamed rice is not included. And the portion size is meant for 1 person so it's on the smaller size. Especially the size of their larb plates. I am used to having leftovers when I order multiple items for that price range. And I do know of some places with just as good Thai Issan or Lao spots locally. I mainly came here to try specific items on their menu. I don't know what happened but I guess rent increase at their new spot is why portion size seems smaller. Food is still really good. Interior decoration needs some improvement or upgrades though.
