Pete's Seafood Sandwich - San Diego

The shrimp po boy was fantastic, very delicious. The Ipswich clams were perfectly cooked. However, the fries were undercooked and mushy.

My husband and I visited Tucson and our neighbor recommended Pete's restaurant. I am originally from Maine and love lobster. Pete greeted us when we arrived and we chatted with him about my best friend's family in Massachusetts. The lobster roll, Ipswich clams, and scallops were all excellent, with the scallops melting in my mouth. The lobster bisque was also delicious. Thank you Pete for bringing a taste of New England to North Park, San Diego. It was a pleasure to meet you and the food was just as good as you! The restaurant is sure to continue to succeed with food this delicious.

I recently visited a wonderful seafood restaurant called East Coast Seafood, located in my neighborhood. The owner, who is originally from Boston, was a delight to meet. Chris, our server, was very friendly and engaging in conversation. The lobster dish I ordered was filled with generous portions of real lobster, and the double chicken parm sandwich had a large and delicious mozzarella patty. To start, we had a creamy and flavorful clam chowder filled with mushrooms and potatoes. The portions were large and satisfying. This restaurant truly embodies what good food and friendly service should be. Thank you, East Coast Seafood, for a fantastic meal.

The restaurant is pretty unassuming, ordering at the counter and putting a number on the table for the food to be delivered. My mother and I had the mango-chipotle grilled shrimp which were delicious and a good portion size. My daughter had the fish and chips which is often mediocre but the New England Cod was flakey, moist and delicious. The manager and staff made us feel very welcome.

Really great place for breakfast, lunch and brunch. The mozzarella sticks are homemade (I recommend the one with pepperjack cheese) and they have good seafood options as well. Very nice Cafe vibe indoors too.
