Salad Style - San Diego

I usually have a great experience with the quality and taste of all their food options, but today was quite disappointing. I especially love their soups, which are always creatively made and frequently updated. While I do find them a bit pricey and not the quickest in service, I didn't mind that in the past. However, today half of my salad was missing! I ordered the small salmon salad with tomatoes, which isn’t included on the regular menu. So where is the rest of my salad? I only received a few small pieces of onion and zucchini. I'm very let down. I’m giving them a 4-star rating because their food is generally good and their ingredients are top-notch, but they really skimped on the salmon salad! It's essentially just a mound of spinach with a few pieces of salmon on top.

I absolutely love visiting this restaurant! I've been there numerous times, and the quality of the food is consistently outstanding. I particularly enjoyed the pear and arugula salad as well as the beef carpaccio. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is just right for a romantic dinner. You might find yourself unsure of exactly what you're eating without checking the menu, but it doesn't matter because everything is simply delicious!

This place is a great choice for lunch in downtown San Diego. They serve a wide selection of fresh salads at a reasonable, albeit somewhat high, price. Given the challenge of finding good salads at decent prices in the area, this restaurant stands out as a solid option. For the best salads at the best prices, though, you might want to check out Plaza Deli, located on the third floor of the nearby Wells Fargo building.

A high end salad restaurant. A bit pricey, but well worth it. The small Salad $13.00), which is big is well worth it. A nice modern dining atmosphere, if you dine at the downtown location arrive before 11 am to beat the lunch crowd.
