Shanghai Bun - San Diego

Standing place to get some tasteful soup dumplings at a fair price! Our duck we got was from the wok chicken with the Szechuan sauce and trims. My only complaint was that it was very sweet. However it came nicely cooked with a large part of chicken and wonderfully stir fried vegetables. The service left something to be desired, but they did the job.

Sit in here. The atmosphere is cold, and the food is made to order and absolutely mouth water. Try the BBQ Pigs!!

Excellent service, friendly staff and good food! I would have taken a picture before, but it was so good! Oh, and dog friendly!

My husband and I stayed for some snacks and drinks after I had carried out some reloads in the area. Take advantage of her happy hour, and we are so happy that we are! Large selection of small plates with dim sum and appetizers selection, and they have a decent beer selection (do not check the wine). TV at the bar, tables inside and outside in a terrace. We make this a regular stop!

The food and service at Shanghai Bun was really good. The Bulgogi Tacos are really tasty. They offer dine, carry out and have outdoor seating. On street parking is limited but they do have a rear parking lot. Will definitely go again.
