The Puerquitos are perfectly shaped and moist. The Oreja are light flaky and even the Mantecada have a sugar crust that give it a slight crunch. Also love the cream cheese Danish with jelly, the best for breakfast or even a night delight with a cafecito. Also finally got to try one of their Tortas, the chipotle sauce was the kind of hot that made your mouth burn with each bite. I got the Hawaiian, and the sweet pineapple was complimenting the fiery sauce. The neighborhood was a little dodgy yet you usually find gems like this place here. Also they had a taco truck parked in front of their shop so more food options. We will always stop here when coming down to SD to get our sweet tooth fix.
Came here specifically looking for a tres leches cake (pastel), and we're very happy to have found multiple flavors of tres leches cakes. Service is ok, but slow. They are looking to hire more help, and it's needed. Place is popular, and saw people in and out during our 1 hr visit.
Very expensive bread, very low quality Food with only canned things Not good and very little ionization
I wasn’t fond of the bread, it was stale and there was a fly inside the bread display. I will find an authentic bakery with better quality.
We visited the store to buy bread and it was dirty, the display cases had flies and the bread was no longer good and very hard. I was not impressed with the quality or service of this place.
