Tajima Ramen House - San Diego

The vegan ramen was amazing! Our delivery driver was also very careful with the order!

The Tajima Ramen and Veggie Ramen were absolutely delicious and truly deserving of praise. Each ramen dish had its own unique broth, both of which were excellent in their own right; every spoonful was a delight. For instance, the Tajima Ramen featured succulent pork that was meaty rather than overly fatty, and the corn added a sweet and crunchy touch. However, the Shrimp Tempura was somewhat disappointing as it was soggy rather than crisp, though it was still flavorful. On the downside, the service was quite slow; we had to wait 30 minutes for the ramen to arrive, and the staff seemed rather distracted. Despite the fantastic ramen, I would give Tajima a rating of 4. If you’re dining with someone you enjoy conversing with, the outstanding ramen will definitely make up for the delays.

It’s an average ramen restaurant. Parking is always a challenge. They don’t allow substitutions, which makes the dining experience feel a bit inflexible. On a positive note, the waitstaff is非常 friendly.

The restaurant was wonderful, but the driver forgot to bring an item.

The food here is consistently excellent. I have been coming for many years and have never been disappointed. Service is always great too at least at this location. My kiddo also loves the food here.I witnessed something here where I thought a fellow customer was being really annoying with a request about having separate checks with his dining partner but hadn't specified earlier. The waitress took it all in stride and didn't seem to give any hint of annoyance even though this was very bad etiquette on the customers part and can cause issues with their POS system. A lot of restaurants would just say no to this type of request so just wanted to mention since seemed she really went above and beyond and was still friendly to them. This was a week ago Aug 22nd in evening. Our service and experience was similarly fantastic.Kid-friendliness: The music was loud but not too loud so we could be loud without feeling like we were annoying people. I saw several other people with their little ones there too. My son also loves their food. I don't believe they have children's menu though.
