The Amigo Spot - San Diego

This place completely changed my perspective! My life feels like a romantic comedy with a quirky, youthful vibe. I had an unforgettable experience with a couple, and it was both intense and exhilarating. I never expected this Mexican restaurant to bring out such a wild side in me. If they had karaoke and brunch hours, it would be absolutely perfect!

I've been traveling to San Diego from San Jose monthly for years, and I always enjoy staying at the Kings Inn and dining at the Amigo Spot. It's arguably the best Mexican food I've ever had, and there is plenty of fantastic Mexican cuisine in San Diego! I particularly love the Enchilada Suizas, and the beans have a delightful smoky flavor. The margaritas are excellent, too! The staff is friendly, the food and drinks are consistently good, and the service is outstanding!

The food was quite good. They closed earlier than expected, so we had to get our order to go. Paying $3.50 for three extra tortillas feels a bit pricey, but overall, the meal was worth it.
