The restaurant is run by a Japanese owner, Japanese pop songs are played inside the restaurant, making you feel like you are on a trip to Japan. The sushi and sashimi are fresh and delicious. The presentation and taste are very elegant, and you can enjoy a moment of refinement. The kushiyaki are also very tasty. The deep-fried tofu was soft and very tasty. The atmosphere in the restaurant is calm and comfortable. The owner is also a very polite person and made me feel at home in the restaurant.

Really enjoyed their Omakase Nigiri and Kaiden Nabe... fresh seafood, quiet atmosphere and great host staff there. Kids were really happy and the hungry hubby was content (no more overeating! We will definitely return!

Almost all reviews talk about how amazing the service is and I am so glad I got to experience this myself : Came here for a belated Father's Day dinner and we were seated right away since we made reservations. It's a small restaurant so make sure you make a resy prior! There was only 1 waitress working and she pretty much is a superwoman. She busses the table, takes the orders, brings the dishes out, and checks in on every table herself. We ordered pretty much all the nigiris, uni shots, Takowasa, negitoro chu chu, agadashi tofu, etc. Every single piece of sushi was AMAZING. 10/10! Will definitely recommend everyone to come :

First time visit to Izakaya Mayumi. Carl was our server and helped guide us through the order. An extremely dry sake(. forgot the name) went well with the meal. The sake glass was over poured into the square container-a nice serving, like 2 glasses off sake. All the fish was really fresh and tasty. Their unagi cut roll special was creative and delicious. Dessert was mstcha/mochi ice cream and mstcha cheese cake-the least sweet versions I've had and let the matcha flavor come through.

I love this establishment! The food here is always fresh. The sushi is always delicious, so are their Nabes. Everyday they have plenty of specials so there's always something new to try. Hiro, the owner, and all of his staff are always so lovely and attentive. Would definitely recommend!
